I took out a data contract with Vodacom last year - 2gig permonth @R149 per month- since i took out the contract i had constant problems with the modem - which kept on loosing connection after ten to
fifteen minutes - i took it into a local store and they had to book it in -A week later i received a new modem -the consultant explained that the old one was defective- a week later i was having the same issues - once again i
had to take it in for repairs - Another week of data lost - they replaced it a second time - the same day i experienced the samne problem - this time i visited the store in Durban where i was told that they would be able to resolve my issues - the staff were very rude and insisted i bring in my laptop in for analysis - I obliged - I own a HP Pavilion i7 - when the Tech checked it out he informed me that due to the speed at which my laptop
downloaded data the modem got extremly hot and shut down - this happened after twenty minutes -when asked if they have a solution - they gave me another identical modem! I am still stuck with the same problem-
I am paying for data tha i cannot use because yourmodem cannot handle a high end laptop - cust care is still getting back
