DEALING WITH TELKOM IS PAINFUL

I have been trying since 8 o'clock this morning - spending hours on the phone going from one menu option to the next getting through to one incompetent person to another. It is now 16:30 and I still have not managed to speak to someone who can just take an process such a simple order/instruction. We need institutions that are functional with staff that are able, willing and capable.

All I want to arrange is a transfer of a a landline from my business to my home. I absolutely despise dealing with Telkom. Why cant we have competition in telecommunation. We need privatisation urgently.
