I contacted 8ta to cancel my contract as the 24 months are over. They instructed me to fax a letter which indicates that I want to cancel the contract. I did so in the required time (more than 3 weeks before the contract ends). I contacted the call centre in the meantime to make sure that they received my letter. They said that the matter is attended to, and that they will contact me. They contacted me on a time when I was unable to take the call (Friday 22 March 2013) and left me a voice message. I've been trying to contact them the whole day since this morning (Monday 25 march) since their operating hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00. I phoned 5 times today, 2 calls over 15 minutes, the others until the phone hang up automatically - still no answer. This is resulting into another debit order going off my account, after I did my part in the required time to avoid that. I will dissuade anyone to ever take out a 8ta contract. They sign you up very quickly, but to get rid of them is quite the opposite. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
