I recently took the BBZ10 on contract. However, when I was deciding between the iPhone 5 and Z10, I was not told that the email services does not go off - all the emails get sent to your phone even if it is not connected. This means that I will continously get billed for emails getting sent to my phone and due to the fact its touch screen I can not guarantee that the emails will not get opened. As an employee of the dept of trade and industry, I understand that I have 7 days to return a product if I am not happy with it even if it is on contract, according to the consumer act. When I went in to the store I was told I cant return even though the person who sold me the contract did not tell me the email service cannot be switched off. If he did I would have definitely went with the iphone because the emails only come to the phone if you touch the email icon. So furthermore I was sold the contract without this piece of info, which is vital to my billing in terms of data usage and considering BIS does not apply to the Z10. Its my right to return the phone within 7 days and I didnt say cancel the contract, I said change the phone to an iphone, which can easily be done within the 7 days.
