I have been utilizing the Cell C modem for more than 2 yrs and I have never experienced such an appalling services, I asked for the manager's email and the call centre agent (Buyisile Khanyile) refused to give it to me. She could not even comprehend an escalation, to add on to this the SLA on my inquiry is 7 working days. The call centre agent admitted that they have been encountering connection issues. My modem keeps giving me a 0-25% signal and this has been going on for the past two months. No communication was sent out to clients to apologize with a resolution time to the investigation. Let us think about this from a business perspective the downtime is 7 days even more, and you get paid R200 per hour on being online. Technically you lose about R11200 and nobody cares. I was also asked for my physical address which did not make any sense as I was connected in Sandton. The agent said that only one physical address could be stored, to my understanding a modem is used as a mobile internet connector not as a router so why store one physical address field and link it to the inquiry.
