I order a new new telkom line and the call centre was very helpfull. yesterday I received a call from the accounts department informing me that I have a balance outstanding for R1900. The last time I had a Telkom line was in about 1999/2000. According to me that account was settled and closed.
Now they do not want to install a new line untill I have paid that amount. Surely the prescription act should protect me in some way as it is more than 3 years ago.
Please can this matter be resolved and my line installed.
