Faulty upgrade not their problem - attitude stinks

I returned my phone to the store for an exchange after noticing that it was not functioning properly. I opted to return the set immediately since it was still within the 7-day exchange warranty period. The assistance (or lack thereof) from the staff at this branch was pathetic. I was referred to a manager (Yaseen) who suggested that there was evidence of water damage. Despite my confirmation that the phone had never been exposed to water, Yaseen insisted that the phone be sent for a technical assessment which would leave me without a phone for up to 2wks, without even offering a replacement phone. My viewpoint while trying to reason with him fell on deaf ears-he responded with a very poor and stinking attitude-leaning against a wall with a constant smirk on his face which irritated, frustrated and angered me so much that I enquired of him whether I looked like a person that was dishonest and would want to pull a fast one. I demand that Yaseen be disciplined with the aim of addressing his lack of skill required to deal with customer complaints and that this matter be escalated to a level where it will receive the priority it deserves given the poor service I received at the store.
