I had the misfortune of dealing with MTN Cavedish Square manager - Yaseen Arend this week. Never have i been so humiliated, belittled or discriminated against. I expect the regional head of operations Belinda Hall to contact me herself to advise on way forward.
Due to limited space ill provide only the most salient points.
Returned 2 week old handset that had switcehd off due to overheating. Was told to expect 2 week turnaround time. Upon calling, told warrantee was rejected due to negligence as 'pressure' had been applied t the phone. As this was not the case, i naturally queried it with the manager.
I did not expect the horror i was abt to encounter in dealing with such an uncouth, incompetent & rude person. To mention a few of the shocking things Yaseen said:'Im not your english teacher, i cant explain to u what pressure is'; 'if you have a problem, take it to hellopeter (thnx Yaseen); 'Hw old are u? ' - my age apparently makes a diff to the level of service mtn render. Yaseen blatantly refused to provide any contact details for his manager, when asked if customer satisfaction is part of his job he replied he's just there to make targets and promptly put the ph dwn in my ea
