Complete Lack of service and regard

I am completely and utterly disgusted in Telkom's lack of service and regard to its customers.
on their website they tell you that to move a line from your old home to your new can take 30 days well this is a complete and utter lie.
we moved home in Feb 2013 and contacted Telkom in Jan 2013 to inform them of this, after being pushed from pillar to post my husband received an sms stating that our line was scheduled to be moved in July 2013. this is 7 months after notifying them NOT 30 days!!!
in the mean time we have to pay our monthly fee for something we can not use. To make matters even worse we were told that we cant cancel our old line at all, we have to keep it and move it! what rubbish is this! Telkom are practically money from clients for their complete lack of competence.
thanks Telkom for being the worst company i have ever had dealings with!
