Bad service regarding cancelling of contract

I had a contract at Cell C. I cancelled it on 04 Feb 2013 as I wanted to go to MTN on prepaid. I gave one month notice as was required and the contract ended on 13 March 2013. I cancelled my debit order on 11 Feb. That placed me in arrears as there was still an amount to be paid. I was notified of this and paid the amoount in cash and send them the proof of payment. On the 13th March I went to MTN to do a sim swop and was told that Cell C has not released my number yet. I called Cell C, and my problems started. I was referred to fro between Cell C and MTN and apparently nobody could solve my situation, On 15 March, after aknowledging that they received my proof of payment, and despite the fact that I cancelled the d/o, Cell C put through a d/o to the amount of R125.00, using ANOTHER referrence number. To this date, I still cannot do a sim swop because Cell C did not release my number yet and apparently they changed my account to prepaid at Cell C.. I called again this morning and was told that nobody is available to help me, because they are all in a meeting. Pathetic.
