Telkom clearly don't care about customers

Hi All,

I recently moved into a new complex which is in need of a Telkom exchange box. The application for a new exchange was made in September 2012 and we were told that the new exchange and lines would be installed on the 18th of February 2013. Without any notification Telkom have now pushed the date back to the 13th of October 2013. The reason they are giving (without any correspondence mind you) is that there is no infrastructure. The area in question is Ferndale, in fact it's less than a kilometer from Multichoice head office so there is no way that there is no infrastructure.

Calling the call center has proved to be a useless exercise as the call center agents either drop my call or have no idea what I am talking about.

I am extremely frustrated and would like someone from telkom to get back to me with a legitimate reason why their process is taking so long.
