Since having ADSL (4 Years) install I have suffered almost daily ittermitant ADSL service, extremely slow download speeds (7-10mbps) and frequent dropping out of connection. Telkom admit there is a problem with the line (too far from exchange?) and have to date replaced the cable from the pole to the house and after nearly 4 years replaced the router. But still the problem persists and I find that at least 50% of my data package is wasted due to failed downloads. There have been several Telkom Tech at my home to try and sort the problem to no avail but still I am expected to pay for a service that I am not recieving. Nobody seems willing or able to sort this issue out, Telkom seems quite happy to take my money and say "sorry we have a problem" and just carry on regardless. I am now at the end of my tether as all lines of action, including HelloPeter seem to have not been able to resolve the issue.
