Blackberry has just lost a client

Have 2BB contracts.
I had 4month old bold 9790.
I took to vodashop canal walk as lcd just gave in with black stripes, constantly froze and I couldn't see the name of an incoming caller.

Quoted 1779 Rand to fix!
BB normally replaces the phone!
It did not fall nor water damage.
How can u rip me off like this?

I will cancel both my contracts, I have never defaulted on payments and this is how I am treated?
