"Your iPhone 5 is here, please come collect it at Cell C Kenilworth." - 28 /12/2012

I was very impressed at how little time it took. I brought all the necessary documentation that Roshana (the attendant) had specified & set out to Kenilworth. Upon arrival, I completed the application for a contract & what was left to do was for Roshana to cross check my file with Head Office over the phone. Once approved, I would walk out with my new iPhone 5 and a contract & it would have been worth the R400 cabfare!

PROBLEM:
For some reason, they could not find me on 'TransUnion' system and therefore could not check my credit record. As a result, I walked out of there without the smartphone I had ordered (they only keep it for 24 hrs) or the contract I was hoping to get.

WEEK 1: I managed to obtain my credit record reference number through my bank consultant. I immediately phoned Roshana to supply her with it but sadly, I had been put to the back of the list and would have to wait for stock.

WEEK 2-7: I've phoned Cell C at least once a week to check on stock. Roshana & her colleagues reassure me and ask to call me back, which they never do.

WEEK 8-10: I have not been contacted once.
