I will be returning my Cell C dongle and 3g mobile package tomorrow. I have full signal strength and can connect at any time of the night or day, but never get any bandwidth. Yesterday, it took 9 hours to download a 50MB Windows update!

Every time I call the "technical support", I get someone who knows nothing about any aspect of the service and tells me "there has not yet been any response to my ticket number". How can you expect to charge someone hundreds or even thousands of Rand for a service which simply does not work? And if you think I am alone, check out the literally thousands of customers with the same issue, who post on [URL Removed]

I wish Cell C would just tell the truth, instead of pretending that everything is fine. They have clearly sold waaaay more bandwidth than their network can provide, so those close to the tower get good bandwidth, while everyone else gets nothing.

I am absolutely furious about this, as I have been a loyal Cell C 3g customer for almost 3 years and this seems to mean nothing.
