I phoned the customer care line "111' from my cellphone. I told Fatima that the account is in my husbands name but I just want to get some information on International roaming. I did not want to activate anything. She kept telling me that she cannot do anything on the account as it is not in my name. Meanwhile all I had asked is for her to explain how the international roaming works and what I need to do to activate it as well as whether I need to pre activate anything for the SMS roaming, which I had explained to her. I cannot understand why this information could not be provided to me. I have been a customer of vodacom for over 10 years and am disgusted by the service I received an will think twice about continuing my contract with vodacom when it expires.
