I am a Cell C prepaid customer. Just over a month ago I realised that my airtime balance was decreasing without me sending any sms's or making any calls. I have been using a blackberry for almost two years and have not been billed for any browsing as well as downloads. I have not had the need to keep large amounts of airtime on my number because I don't really make calls from my mobile. So when the need arises for me to make a call my airtime balance is R0.00.

I contacted the call centre and they could not tell me what the reason was for the airtime decreasing ultimately to R0.00. They escalated the problem and told me that a team leader will contact me. After about a week and a half I called in again and the same story repeated itself. It is now just over a month, tried to speak to three team leaders and I'm no closer to resolving the issue.

Secondly, two days ago I tried to recharge my account using the FNB telephone banking option. I was unsuccessful. I contacted FNB and they told me that you cannot recharge Cell C numbers using their service because there is a problem with Cell C. Bad infrastructure
