I have a MTN uncapped light package from MTN - 3GB at full speed thereafter throttled to 256kb/s. problem is since December 2012, i struggle to get 3G coverage - even my blackberry 9360 doesnt pick up 3G signal anymore. i get line speeds of 10-30kb/s which makes it pratically impossible to access the internet yet alone download anything & this is most often without me even using up my 3GB cap... when i lodged a complaint, i found out that their coverage department only operates mon to fri 8am to 5pm!!! how can a leading cellular service provider have a department that deals with coverage only operate during standard office hours. their call centre staff dont even know the operating times as they kept on trying to put me through when they were closed. why should i pay for something that MTN is failing to provide. i have referrence number with coverage:6235585 which was logged on Monday 11/02/2013. their reply: they have a 96 WORKING HOUR turn around time... SERIOUSLY!!! no response has been received to date. surely this constitutes a breach of contract on MTN's part??
