I renewed my contract with Vodacom about 6 months ago. The phone I received was faulty from the get go. I sent it in for repairs in Nov - they had it for a over month. Still faulty, and thereafter even more things were wrong with the phone. I took it in again on the 16/02/13, they assured me that it would be gone for maximum a week - and it came back within a week - Still broken! They phone me to tell me they are sending it back to head office in Jozi because the signal was not fixed properly - however this is not what I sent the phone in for! They say that that's what it was booked in for, yet on my receipt it states exactly what it was booked in for. The receipt was written by the consultant at the repair centre in Gateway. I try to explain that if they fix the signal, the phone is still going to have the problems that I sent it in for initially. No one seems to understand me and I am sure the phone is going to come back faulty again. Whats worse is that I am paying a pretty penny for a phone that Vodacom have had more possession of than I have. Essentially I am paying for thin air! 10 Years with Vodacom and I've never had a problem until now - but this is Absolutely Horrendous.
