I am a web developer.
I have had a Vodacom 3G modem for a number of years.
Over the past year I have noticed that the connection speeds are getting slower and slower and sssssslllooowwwwwwwer!

It is my opinion that Vodacom is in breach of contract.
They are billing me each month for a minimum of 3G speed!
However I am getting far less than this, I estimate 98% of the time.

When browsing, while I select 3G only in the Vodacom application, I am constantly moved to HSPA.
I call the Call Center and am told that this (part of HSDPA) is faster and arn't I happy.
Then when I say I am not they then start the game - but where are you connecting from / modem (I have had it checked by them) is faulty etc.
I.e. We cannot help you until you specify which tower you are connecting from.
I say I connect from various parts of Johannesburg and Pretoria as I connect remotely.
Then they start to spin my around and around the call center.
I get nowhere and in numerous calls I receive no help.
I.e. they are lying to the customers.
I.e. they are in breach of contract!
The new ITL network, promising speeds faster then 3G will probably (when all is said and done) be far less than the hype.
