Poor DSL service and lack of service delivery!

A little while ago I was able to receive download speeds around 6mbps very reliably. The service was great in fact! Although I would have liked 10mbps or more still...

Since then the rainy season has started and the degradation of service has made my line almost unusable. I managed to grab a Telkom techie off the street who replaced some of the cabling on my premises after numerous attempts via the call centre. This made the service only marginally better. When he was here though he said that the junction box on top of the pole in my garden is water damaged and that he would log a call for the guys to swap it out. That was around 2 months and 2 faults logged by me for the same.

Still no joy though! And I'm still paying top $$ for a barely usable service!

Please can someone get in touch with me urgently to plan a time or fix?

I've also read that a UMC box in Paulshof would speed things in considerably for everyone in the suburb since we're all around 5 Kms from the local exchange. Can someone advise if there are any plans in our area?
