Roughly 2 mnths ago I handed in my 3G dongle at the Westgate as it was not working. Just short of a month later, after not receiving any feedback or sms, I contacted the repair centre upon which they informed me that the dongle was ready for collection. I tested the device and it was not working. I contacted Vodacom from my cell on 155, still not working. It was then suggested that the sim card may be faulty. I requested a sim swap. After 4:30 that same afternoon I tested the device after receiving confirmation that it has been activated. It was still not working. I then attended at a shop in Horizon View, I was then told that when the account is in arrears it takes 24 hours for the activation to take effect. At about 4 that afternoon we AGAIN tested the device and AGAIN it was not working. Yesterday, Sunday 17 February 2013, I returned to Horizon View where they contacted your data centre and I was informed to have the sim exchanged. The Zone does want to do this and sent us to yet another repair centre. The lack of interest or willingness to assist is pathetic.
