Firstly, i have complained about my previous phone that i had with vodacom, which was a sony ericsson vivaz pro. which had given me problems and vodacom was not willing to fix it even though i was still on my contract and my warranty was still valid. the could not even call me to ask me to come fetch my phone or have it sent. they kept the phone with them and it is still currently with them. now i have a blackberry 9320 which is on a upgrade of my previous contract. the reception is absolutely pathetic. i can hardly ever download or even browse webpages. i feel that vodacom used to be an extremely great company to deal with and thats why i had my contract with them since 2002. but now vodacom has grown and the service is really unacceptable. i will make it my job to make sure that my story about vodacom goes into the newspaper and media. i cannot deal with vodacoms network, i feel that if your clients are complaining, then upgrade your towers or get RIM to upgrade theirs. but if you cannot provide a service then dont bother trying to provide it. i will say GLADLY that my iphone on MTN has given me no problems at all. even MTN on RIM is an absolute breeze.
