I upgraded my contract on 05 January 2013, I took iPhone 5 I asked the Customer Service Agents about the applications on the phone and costs related to the use of the applications, they did a SIM swap and they did not RICA. They did not give a detailed explanation I could not use the phone for other applications except for call and SMS on the day of upgrade, sun and Mon morning until I went to Bloed Mall for assistance. Thats where I got the explanation that I could not access other services as my SIM was not RICAd and they wanted my credit card details to activate Whatsapp I had a problem with that. that is the kind of information I expected to be told and the agent did not. I went to Menlyn later the Agent told me cancellation is not an option and I was given the stores managers email to discuss the issue with her. The next day I went to Bloed Mall and I enquired if it's possible to cancel, in my presence they called 808 number I was assured that it is possible. I went back to Menlyn and engaged also the manager and she did not want to assist. I left the unit with them as i realised they are buying time now they threaten me and force me to pay R11 067.
