INCORRECTLY HANDED OVER!!!

Before leaving March 2012 for Umrah (religious pilgrimage), I had transferred my telephone line from my husbands name to mine as I am a pensioner. Prior to the transfer, we had an ADSL line which was paid already. upon transfer, they billed my husband with ANOTHER ADSL line on an account that should have been ZERO balance. when queried, Telkom just simply says "we cant help you". the account had accumulated interest and fees and subsequently been handed over to VVM Attorneys.

I am not having any luck from VVM as they cant help with the incorrect billing of ADSL line - They expect me to pay it! also, i am having no luck from Telkom despite the fact that they had been the cause of the problem and blatantly refuse to assist.

Surely there should be an internal Recoveries/Legal department within Telkom as all companies should. and i am expecting this to be corrected as this is a Telkom error and NOT my husbands.

I refuse to pay it - even though its "just money" I feel Telkom would lose A LOT of business on the basis that they are 100% dishonest!
