8ta Ridiculous internet speeds

I live in Wendywood, Sandton which is classified as a good signal area in Johannesburg. I purchased my 8ta contract in December and have a 21mbps 3g dongle. Some nights I can't even connect to steam and some nights I can, all I want to do is play some Dota 2 online but with 8ta it is impossible, upon starting a game I am met with terrible latency of what appears to be a ping of 1 minute. Speedtest gives me a ping of 200ms to local servers and a download speed of 0, 5 mbps on a 21mbps DONGLE!? The signal bar on the modem software says that I have almost full signal. I then switch to Cell C 3G and it works amazingly, i get lag spikes and me and my Fiance can play Dota 2 without any issues... ON THE SAME DONGLE!!! I can't even play alone on 8ta without permanent lag and crashing. This is pathetic service Telkom. I will not recommend 8ta to anybody, ever. I logged a call with 8ta and they sent out a technician who was utterly useless. He made no attempt to assist me and left without even saying goodbye. I want this contract cancelled by the end of the month 8ta. I want to be able to play a game. Gaming is my hobby and I know it is possible on 3g because my Cell c works fine.
