During the latter part of last year I purchased a battery charger from VodaShop in the Grove which lasted for only two months. When I returned it to the shop I was asked to prove that it had indeed beenurchased - something that I was able to do by virtue of my bank statements. Once proof had been provided Michel the shop assistant left the shop to request guidance from his manager. He was told to trace the purchase on the system. When we requested a replacement charger or our money back as provided for in the Consumer Act he stated that it was our "opinion" and that would not be happening - he would send the charger away for repairs.

I have followed up twice now (01 and 13 February 2013) only to be given the run-around and still do not have a solution to my problem.

Hopefully this posting will serve as a wake-up call to the staff and manger of the VodaShop in The Grove and they will treat me with the respect and courtesy I deserve as a paying customer and replace/refund me as soon as possible.
