My Telkom line has not been working since the 13th of January. I have made numerous calls from my cell (which is costing me), whereby they log a fault. In a few days I will receive an sms saying that the fault was repaired but then it was not. This forces me to contact them again (costing me) to report the same fault.
Its ridiculous!!! I am still paying for line rental and don't have a service and my Cell phone account must carry all the costs on the calls that I usually make to land lines. We had a similar situation in December with ADSL. This was down for almost the whole December. The response I got was that the whole area had a problem... but my neighbours phone is working. Telkom really does not provide a service at all and no acceptable feedback is given. Who will reimburse me for all the calls I made from my Cell phone to landlines??? They quick to cut your line when you late with payment, but not so quick to sort there problems out!!!
