On Tuesday the 05.02.2013 i called Vodacom telephone upgrade. I spoke with a lady who had sold me and upgraded me to a Samsung Galaxy S2. I was told that they do not currently have stock so it will take a while. A week later on the 12.02.2013 i called again, speaking with a very arrogant agent who informed me that this phone has been discontinued and i HAVE TO select another phone. After a long argument of this agent talking over me treating me like a stupid child i spoke with the manager. The manager had the same story, when i asked what would have happened he told me that the phone just never would have reached me. I asked him how i would have come to know and he told me they would not have contacted me. It would be up to me to get this information. I have made a complaint and asked for feedback to which i have still not heard anything. I have taken a higher monthly installment on an upgrade as this was the only option. Yet Vodacom clearly doesnt care about their clients and just about getting the money in their pocket.
