I have had endless no-sense with MTN, I have had two contract with MTN and on both occasions i have taken a Samsung phone both times the phones are not working and MTN give you a "it's your problem attitude"- the first contract was a Samsung star and it froze so I took back MTN then advise that it was water damaged and then I took it to another MTn shop as i was certain that i did not get any liquids on the phone who fixed it and did not advise that it was water damaged so MTN to cover their backsides - a month later the phone did the same so I gave up with the phone as I Was upgrading soon, then I upgraded to a new Samsung in December 2011 so the phone is a little over year old, the battery on the phone only last an hour so I took it back where I was advise that there only a 6 month guarantee on the battery, so what MTN is saying that I must pay for a product for 24 that does not work for 24 months - I am so fed up with MTN and if they don't resolve this I will make sure that I will spread the word on the incompetency levels that MTN have, I am aware that I am only one person and would not do too much damage to MTN names but I will try my best to spread the word.
