Just Curious???

I have been using Vodacom's mobile internet for a year now and although the signal strength here was not to great I got a 133kbps speed easy. At the end of January I decided to switch to MTN as my internet usage has been on the rise. So I got the uncapped internet knowing full well after 3 gig I will be throttled but it did not bother me as 128kbps is not bad. Plugged it in and yay, got uncapped internet.

As I have said the signal is not to great around here but I get the same signal strength as I did with vodacom. But with MTN since the first day the highest it got to was 102kbps with the average at about 68kbps. SO what gives? I am all for retro but seriously Dial Up was great and all but geez I feel cheated cause the least you could do was add fake beeps to let me know my dial up connection is connecting.

All jokes aside... Why is are you weaker than Vadacom? There must be a reasonable explanation I am sure.
