On the 4th of Feb I applied for the 10gig data deal and I was told that it should take 24-48 hours. On the 6th of Feb I received an sms stating that they are still processing my application. On the 8th of Feb I tried to phone the specific store but all the numbers I tried went straight to voicemail. After leaving a message someone phoned back, saying that 8ta are upgrading their system and that is the reason for it taking longer than usual.

Today (11 Feb) I phoned again and was told that they will phone back to let me know whether the application has been processed. They did not phone back. I drove to the store to get an answer and I was told that they will give me an answer at 5pm. When I went back they told me that the application has STILL not been processed. According to the store they sent the application through on the 5th but that head office again asked for it after the store's enquiry today.

This is totally unacceptable. Even worse is the fact that 8ta is asking R200 for a connection service.

If 8ta whishes to have me as customer, they should please sort this issue out by the end of tomorrow (12th Feb) and exempt me from paying the R200 for connection service!
