This also refers to my previous post. I am still experiencing network problems in my area. I have called the network coverage department on numerous occasions, but nothing has ever been done to resolve my problem. Dates of calls i have made are;01/11/2012, 13/11/2012 (spoke to Romano), 07/12/2012 (Spoke to Nthokozi), 24/12/2012, 31/12/2012, 09/01/2013. My reference number they gave me is;0048650.Everytime i call i get told that they are awaiting for a response from the technician, Sheltin, who services the area i live in and that he will contact me. Up to today i havent heard from him. I am highly disappointed at the levels of service i am getting regarding this matter. It is very frustrating. Whats the use of having a smartphone, but it cant be used when i get home because of the network? Or is the area i live in not regarded as important enough. I have seeked legal help and if this carries on, this matter wil be settled through the new CONSUMER ACT and i am well within my rights to pursue this matter further. If MTN do not have a copy of the consumer act, i suggest they get one, cause i will take action.
