I submitted an online complaint to MTN via their website almost 2 months ago regarding their MTNwhereru service which I registered and pay for - which does not work properly. I haven't even had the courtesy of a response or acknowledgement yet!!! The service is supposed to be a safeguard to locate person/s whom are connected as locatees on the application. I have tested it several times and it does not give an accurate location of the locatee linked to me, for example, when the locatee is in Kelvin, Sandton (Johannesburg) it gives me the location of Kempton Park, which is totally inaccurate. What is the point of offering the service and making a customer pay for it if it doesn't even work?? All the service providers offer a similar service yet all the people I've spoken to who use other service providers haven't had this problem, it appears MTN's service is useless in this regard. I need a response and feedback on this a.s.a.p.
