Had problems with phone since purchased

I went to Vodashop at Clearwater mall and signed a contract with Sandre, I asked for the samsung X-Cover model of phone. I must mention that I run a trucking company and my phone is my business. I have been back and forth from Vodashop at clearwater twice since October with the same complaints. Both times they took the phone and sent it away to be repaired. The problems I have are as follows...
1) Switches off all the time and need to re enter pin everytime I need to use it.
2) Gallery over heats when turned off.
3) Battery goes flat after a day with little use.
4) When people call me it gives a message to the caller I am not avaiable even though I have full signal. This happens all the time just about so I have reverted back to my old cell phone a Nokia as I cannot loose calls and in turn loose possible clients.
I need to resolve this issue. Is there a problem with this model of Samsung as my son in law has the same phone and also the same problems that I have? Why do I require a contract when the phone does not work and is in the repair shop more than with me? Please help.
