Without a cellphone for three months

I handed a Samsung Galaxy Ace phone to A telkom direct store in Pietermarizburg for repairs, as the phone was still under warranty when booked in by a Telkom Agent. The receipt I was given by the agent states the cellphone will be repaired in 28 day and returned to the owner, how ever I am waiting up to 3 months yet to receive my cellphone. During the 3 months I received sms's from the company who took my phone in for repairs to pay outstanding amouts, due to my phone being out of warranty. I refused to pay the amount as from evidence of the purchased receipt date and the receipt date when I booked my phone in, I am still under warranty. I phoned the telkom direct store repeatedly as them self's don't know why I have to pay. After some time I receive a phone call from the 8ta/telkom direct store agent saying that I need to fax my purchase receipt, as my phone is in Johannesburg at a Samsung repair shop. On faxing the purchase receipt with valid dates, I have not heard since from 8ta/ telkom direct store Pmb nor from Samsung on the repair process and why is it taking so long just to repair a battery and charger. It is now going on to the 3rd month. No one has contacted me.
