Over - charging on a fixed contract

Hi

I've signed a 12 months Cell C modum contract through Autopage Gezina and went in to the branch to cancel my contract after a year in November 2012. I was told that the contract had not expired and that I can not cancel yet. I went home to check the details and phoned olivia and Rene and advised that the 12 months in fact already expired. They advised me that the system showed I had a 24 months contract and that this is a system error.
They referred me to their head office. They again said that this was a error at the branch & the branch needs to sort this out. I again phoned Rene and she said she will sort it out for me. In the mean time I'm still paying every month at a higher fee than that of the contract I signed up for. They advised me now that I will pay my last installment at the end of February 2013.
I feel this is unfair practise. They gave me the incorrect info when I in the first place wanted to cancel my contract and have been paying a higher fee since then.

I will never again make use of Autopage. I am really very dissapointed at the service after I have been a client for so many years.
