Attempted to cancel a contract _ No ways!

I went in to Autopage branch in Blue Route, a month before my Auto Page contract (obligated 2 year contract) expired, to cancel my contract, as I no longer wanted a contract phone as we are about to emigrate soon.

I was assured, that the contract that ended November 2013, will be cancelled.
The sales person that help me, did pull my phone record to check my contract expiration date and then "apparently" did not cancel it, as I found out May 2013 when I was contacted (for the 1st time) by Autopage to inform me off overdue fees!
I promptly threw my toys out of the cot, got transferred to the accounts dept and then was assured that the record would be put straight and that I do not have any amount outstanding against my name.
I then went back to Autopage branch in Blue Route Mall (the following day) to complain about the lack of service and that I have been contacted by Autopage (after I've been to their branch to cancel the contract) about my ' outstanding contract fees' after I mistakenly believed that it was cancelled.

NO WAYS! I was phoned again last week July 11th _with an enormous amount of close to R800 for outstanding fees! PAY? or get BLACKLISTED!
