Cellphone contract to prepaid

I cancelled my Cellphone contract with AutoPage and requested them to make my number a prepaid number. The contract is now cancelled and I was promised to be on prepaid from 1 February. It is now 6 days later and my phone is still not working. This is very urgent as I need a phone with this number for business. I have phoned customer services many many times, but nobody seems to know how to fix this problem.
The Cell no is 0842071288 and they gave me a reference no of 230257
