Do not ever use Telkom service, they are useless

I had a Telkom landline with closer plan. As I was moving I called Telkom's service center end of October 2013 to give my one month notice for terminate the line plan. After holding on for more than an hour every day without getting through, I finally went to the Telkom store at Clearwater Mall and explained the situation to a consultant whom told me they are off line, but she will process my request the following day. When my next account came I discovered that my request was not processed. After holding on for the call centre for ever and a day again, I again went to the Telkom store and spoke to the manager. The consultant previously helping me had vanished in the meantime and I was told to use the in store phone to contact the call centre. I eventually got hold of someone, explained my problem and the person said the situation will be resolved. I asked her what I should pay for the month and she replied that I will receive a final account. Until this day I have not received a final account, only a sms to inform me my line has been cut due to non payment and another sms informing me that my account has been handed to an Attorney. HORENDOUS SERVICE TELKOM
