My daughter is with vodacom, and every single month it is a issue with her account. For instance in November on the 12th they put through 2 debit orders. the amounts was R 2000.00 and R 2209.31
After a long fight they refunded the R 2209.31 only on the 6th of December. On the 10th of December they put another debit order through for R 1202.03
In January her account was R 707.67, the debit order went through for 2916.97!!! unbelievable
When she phoned them they said they cant do anything about it. They can see that the amount was wrong, She asked to talked to the acoounts department, but that was not possible. Her bank manager suggested they send the D/O back and pay the account EFT. She paid the Feb account in the begining of the month, so that there wont be a problem. now they suspended her account and said she has to pay the R 100.00 for the debit order aswell because they see it as her fault, that the D/O was returned. The R 2500. 00 that is on her account now as a credit, they cant pay back to her, and they cant take the monthly payment of that, she still needs to pay the account.
It seems that their book keeping system is a total mess.
