ADSL installation takes FOREVER!!

I recently ordered a ADSL 2mbps line with Telkom including the closer 2 package (order number: 93088380 - not that it will a difference). After completing the application I was sent an sms that said I should reply @Yes/No if the installation time was suitable. I replied @No and scheduled for the Saturday. Because I can't take leave for the 31 Jan I scheduled for the 1st instead because the lady at Telkom store said the technicians operate on Saturdays. But what a bunch of bull that was. Saturday arrives, no technician arrives even after calling the call centre (probably 3-5 times at intervals of 2 hours) and being told, "they on their way." I waited the whole day for nobody to pitch up. Telkom just wastes your time. Even though you paying for the service you still have to be treated like before anything can happen. Now Telkom responds and says the date was for the 3/02/2014! I missed a call on 3/02/2014 and all of a sudden I have to reschedule everything!?! How can they expect me to take a day off form work when they don't pitch up for installations. From all the other complaints I read about installation problems, it's probably best to cut Telkom out of my life.
