On the evening of the 27/01/2014 I report my business telephone (044 8741651) to have a very bad scratchy line and that it was interfering with my POS card machine (via dial up). I was given reference number 356CEZ270114. On the 29th, I phoned again to inquire and was told it is by the technical department and they waiting for a technician to come out. In the meanwhile, I am losing business as I cannot accept debit / credit cards. I phoned on another occasion and was given an escalation no 580001 - still no response. Yesterday, 03/02/2014, I arrived at the business to discover my land-line had no dial tone... I contact Telkom again via my cell phone which I am now paying and was told that it is a problem on the outside phone box and they sorting it out. Today, Day 7... I am still sitting with a dead telephone... a dead POS machine and I am trying to run a business... I am getting no feedback from Telkom and I do not know what the problem is or how long it will take to correct. Frustrated, Karen Lemon
