Autopage does not take responsility for error

On Wednesday 8 January 2014 Alltech Autopage allowed an illegal SIM Swop to take place of my cell phone. This happened over the counter, which means that the person responsible for the SIM Swop is part of the.

This is not a private phone and a SIM Swop can only be authorized with a written consent, signed by a director of the business. Autopage allowed the SIM Swop to take place, given criminals the opportunity to access my bank details. They transferred money from one of my accounts to my cheque account where they withdraw the money. (A six digit amount is involved.)

Francois Odendal is the Audit and Risk Manager at Autopage and is not known for answering his telephone/messages (land and cell) came to the conclusion that the on my bank account is not attributable to any action on the part of Autopage. HA-HA

They shouldn't allowed the SIM Swop without the letter of consent and could have contacted me to ask if the SIM Swop must take place.

The result is that it cost me money and lots of time to get the new SIM card. Not to talk about the inconvenience and fights with my bank to recover the money.

Think twice before using Alltech Autopage as a service provider.
