Refuses to cancel contract after 3 months!

End of March I called to make sure that my contract will be cancelled after the 24 months were over. The call center agents refused to cancel the contract. Only after writing on hellopeter did I get a response. I would have been charged 2 months extra on an upgraded contract!

I sorted the dates and the debit order amount with Lomarie van Dyk, with whom I made it VERY CLEAR that I want to CANCEL my account with Vodacom.

When I saw airtime was loaded onto my phone 3 June 2013 I called the cancellation line, and had to wait 10 MINUTES before the phone was answered. The agent was useless in helping me and I had to phone in a SECOND time, also waiting 13 MINUTES to speak to an agent, who had contrary information to the first agent.
I was informed by her that if the airtime was loaded, we will just have to PAY FOR ANOTHER MONTH!!
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! I informed vodacom 2 MONTHS PRIOR that I want to CANCEL my contract.

When asking to speak to a manager, I was left hanging for 6 minutes and had to hear through the agent that the MANAGER REFUSED TO TALK TO ME! Highly unprofessional!

I want to KEEP MY NUMBER and CANCEL MY CONTRACT!

Can you get it right this time?!!
