I had purchased the sony xperia z1 in November 2013. This phone promises water resistance capabilities. I tested this according to the user manual. The phone had stopped working and I only had it for under a month. Mtn repairs say that they cant do anything as its my fault as its liquid damage. I know I 100% followed all precautions and they are falsely accusing me. They refuse to give me a new phone and I am paying a large amount per month for this contract. I believe there was something wrong with the phones ports that water had entered because I ensured they were closed tightly. It has been months and mtn still hasn't solved the issue even though my wife and I have pleaded, they keep giving excuses and the fact remains I am left without a phone. I regret purchasing this contract through mtn as they service does not protect the honour or justice of the customer. I am extremely disgusted and I have no more patience. If this isn't sorted out soon I am going legal, this is unfair. Mtn had told me "only the user knows what happened" exactly! I was extremely careful and feel hopeless that they don't care about my case. I want a new xperia z1 due to all this inconvenience.
