Vodacom, a disgrace to the Vodafone brand

The tower in my area does not work correctly, logged a call and was told that it would not be fixed any time soon. Calls get dropped fairly often wherever I am and calls on the Gautrain between Sandton and Centurion get dropped repeatedly. Call the call centre, the systems cannot pick up my number or name for a manager to call me back. My bill approaches a credit threshold, Vodacom cut my phone off without warning leaving me stranded at an airport.

While I am sure that there are some competent people at Vodacom, my opinion is that these poor folk must be so ridiculously overworked by seemingly having to compensate for what appears to be an ocean of incompetents with arrogant delusions of adequacy.

I am happy to pay for the calls and data that I make and use respectively, at the lowest rates that Vodacom offers; however, I do not see a reasonable argument as to why I should pay for monthly service fees for service that I do not receive. Anyone else have similar issues and think it reasonable not to pay for something we do not receive?
