No chance to cancel a Telkom service

At 24.1. I called the call center of Telkom SA to cancel my ADSL-package. Close the menu guidance, I was prompted to enter my phone number. Then I waited 30 minutes in the loop. The staff member asked me what I wanted and told me to give her my phone number. I replied that I have already entered it, but she insisted on the number. After giving it, the line was disconnected. Since the telkom connections are really stable, I 'm assuming that she initiates it.
Then I wrote my resignation by fax to the Telkom office in Jeffreys Bay and asked for confirmation of the termination.
After I heard nothing, I visited the store in Jeffrey's Bay today. The employee, Priscilla, told me they had not done anything. Cancellations will only be accepted by calling the call center. My question is why they did not inform me, was not answered. My question if this is "Telkom " was also not answered. Because of a complaint, I asked her again for her name. Then she took off her name tag and refused the nomination.

I now have a notice by fax with confirmed transmission, which are neither accepted nor processed by Telkom
If by 7 February no acknowledgment is received, I will involve a lawye
