DSL not converted after 3 weeks

We purchased a new uncapped DSL line with Telkom on the 15th of January 2014. Only a few days ago did we decide to install the package and get connected with our new wireless router. We followed all the instructions but still had problems setting the router up. After calling the call center and speaking to a gentleman by the name of Sirus, he quickly found the cause of the frustration and told us that the original line has not yet been converted to DSL. While still very confused as to why after the initial 2 weeks prior to unboxing the conversion has not been done yet, he assured us that we will receive a call at 10am the following morning from the "conversion guys" to assist as they were at that time closed for the day. That was 2 days ago. When calling back today, the systems were "off-line". We are extremely frustrated at the service we have this far received and i am not looking forward to the next 700 odd days remaining on our contract. We will NOT be paying for any services rendered as none have yet been provided to us until such a time that my connection and conversion has been completed and is operational.
