Moving ADSL to new house

Visited Telkom direct to obtain assistance in transferring my ADSL line to my new house. Received great help in how to complete the request online and duly did so. Received confirmation sms stating that I will be contacted... I never was. 6 weeks went by so I thought I should call, 3 calls to the call centre and still all I get is that the transfer of my adsl is under investigation!!! I heard that the area to which I have moved does not have sufficient ports but nobody at Telkom can tell me what is happening or by when I could have the line installed. Then to really upset me I was told that if I want the phone installed in the meantime I should place another order!! Please could Telkom equip the call centre with the ability to obtain more detailed information when required and not merely state "this is what the system is telling me". At least allow your customers access to a local Telkom staff member who understands what needs to be done with an issue!!
